Sip By Sip

God works mightily through a cup of coffee! Sip by sip, It is through the deep conversations, that we share our stories, our friendship, and our love for each other. We talk, we laugh, pray, and sometimes we cry.

We encourage, build each other up, and have hard conversations. But, you’re here through it all. Warming our hands and our hearts. You would actually be shocked. If you invite a lady for lunch often times it takes a move of God to work out a time to meet because you have to “make time” for the appointment. However, if you ask a lady to meet you for coffee, they are often more willing because it is less of a commitment. You’ll easily be in that meeting for an hour and a half, sometimes for up to three hours. If you ask a lady to meet you for lunch, you’re able to actually get it nailed down on the calendar, you will typically only meet for about an hour. When the food is gone, they are less inclined to hang around and the waiter or waitress will be ready to rush you off so that they can fill the table with more customers.

Give it a try, meet someone for coffee next week! Don’t forget to thank a barista … or your hostess. Praise God for His glory and for a hot beverage to enjoy in a time of fellowship with friends and our loved ones.
