Self Assessment

Oftentimes the true weapon formed against us that causes us not to prosper . . . is us. Words become our thoughts. Thoughts become our actions. Actions become our habits. Habits become our character. Character becomes our identity.

Jesus, please help us to get out of Your way!

“no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”” Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬

Daily growth & renewal begins with a self-assessment. Ask yourself these probing questions:

  • Am I active in the Word?
  • Am I attending a local church regularly?
  • Am I being discipled?
  • Am I committed to bad habits?
    – Why am I doing these things?
    – When did they start?
    – What is driving me to do these things?
    – What void am I trying to fill?
    – What is causing my behavior to accept these habits?

Pray and surrender any habits that hold you back from fully pursuing Jesus.
